A busy Show, well attended and run in the usual efficient fashion by Christine and Peter to whom my thanks for the invitation. Thanks also to Heather Roper who braved the trials of the morning traffic from South Wales to steward and who performed immaculately despite the heat and the press in the Show Hall. I have to say that the growing custom of having a chair parked and occupied right in front of a pen door does make access to exhibits very difficult and of course breaks the rule that advises exhibitors that they must not identify themselves to a judge, a particular problem during Best of Variety judging when it is done around the pens, though this is doubtless just the reaction of an old grouch after a hectic afternoon in the heat of the Hall.
AC ORIENTAL PREMIER MALE
GR PC to MASTERS’ CH ENIGMATIC TANGERINE DREAM. MN. (OSH d) 21/8/14. Handsome, quite shy, aptly named youth. Elegant wedge, slightest pinch, with sizeable ears spaced and flared well, eyes of good oriental shape and incline, looking olive green in the Hall light which did influence eye colour considerably. Profile just arched, chin slopes a tad, bite level. Strong, heavy body, with length of limbs and tail to balance. Very attractive, light red coat, sound and showing commendably even distribution, only modest permitted tabby features evident.
AC ORIENTAL PREMIER FEMALE.
GR PC to WEBB’S I GR CH & PR CHANTEUR SHADY LADY. FN. (OLH f 11) 6//9/12. Elegant Tortie Shaded lady with a straight sided triangular head on which large ears are spaced and flared in line. Almond shaped oriental eyes held rather closed, making them seem smaller than they actually are, green toned. Profile just slightly angled at the brow, straight above and below, excellent depth to her muzzle, level bite. Tense body of length, limbs to match, tail might be just a wee bit longer for preference. Very lovely coat for length and texture, bright quite dense tortie mantle, roots a little shady, seasonal one suspects, then an agouti band well up the shafts to the mantling, slight tabby features on the mask limbs and tail completing the shaded outfit..
ORIENTAL BLACK ADULT.
BoB LLOYD’S CH SEIDO SKYFALL. F. (37) 27.2.13. Dainty, very elegant lady with an even sided triangular head, beautifully set and flared large ears, spaced widely, super expressive oriental green eyes with the baleful glare that I like, gently angled profile. Body slender and lithe, lengthy limbs and tail to balance. Splendid, gleaming sound black coat fitting like the proverbial glove.
ORIENTAL LONGHAIR ADULT
BoB WEBB’S I GR CH & PR CHANTEUR SHADY LADY. FN. (OLH f 11) 6//9/12. See above
AC ORIENTAL BICOLOUR ADULT
BoB WEBSTER’S I GR CH & I GR PR FIORDILISO NENPEMA-NUAGE. FN (OSH n 03 33) 21/3/12. Such an aloof and self assured lady. Very elegant triangular head, large ears very precisely aligned, lazily haughty expression in her inclined oriental blue eyes. Proud aristocratic profile, level chin and bite. Body slimmer than of yore, though still substantial; balancing limbs and tail just long enough. Texture of coat good, seal pointed pattern adorned by white correctly distributed and just exceeding the required one third of the surface.
TABBY POINT SIAMESE ADULT.
CC BoB CALLOWAY’S ALBANY V EISENSTEIN. F. (SIA a 21) 21/8/14. Blue Tabby male with an elegant triangular head on which large ears flare gently, inclined oriental eyes, good blue, with mystery in their gaze. Profile straight, muzzle has depth, curving chin, excellent level bite. Graceful body, balancing slender limbs and tail. Lovely pale clear body contrasts with the blue grey points. Pads purplish, nose blue, good slick coat texture.
TABBY POINT SIAMESE KITTEN.
1.BoB. GLAUBITZ’S LOLUJA DRESSEDINLACE. F. (SIA m 21) 30/11/14. Well developed caramel tabby girl with a medium length, even sided triangular wedge head on which ears of good size are well flared, and graced by eyes of oriental set and clear blue. Profile straight but for a tiny kitten depression on the forehead, chin curves slightly, bite level. Firm body of good size, limbs and tail balancing. Very good sleek coat, showing soft lilac based caramel facial tracings, tail rings with faint leg barring. Excellent pale clear body contrast. 2. HARVEY’S ENIGMATIC DREAMED A DREAM. F. (SIA f 21) 29/4/15. Sweet babe, just pocket sized. Tiny kitten pinch to her tiny wedge, large ears held well and slightly full blue eyes giving and lively and slightly surprised expression. Profile virtually straight, again the slightest forehead flattening, curving chin, baby incisors level. Plump little tummy, good breakfast one suspects, waved her little limbs at us while she was cradled. Baby textured coat shows soft points colouring in which one has to search quite hard for the breaks as they are pale indeed. The ears show mottling, the mask little clear breaks as yet, all four limbs show breaks in very pale tones, left forepaw pad showing mottling but not the others. Loved being handled. Intriguing child, well named.
CHOCOLATE POINT SIAMESE NEUTER.
PC BoB GURNEY-TAYLOR’S TINKERTAYLOR BIZZY LIZZY. FN. (SIA b) 7/9/14. Even triangular wedge to this lass, would prefer a little more width at the top; ears of good size, held in line, good blue oriental eyes. Profile gently angled at the brow, straight otherwise, curving chin, level bite. Long, tense body, limbs and tail to match. Coat of excellent close texture, mid chocolate points, a little darker on the ears, glamourous contrasting ivory coat. Shy.
TABBY POINT SIAMESE NEUTER.
BoB JOHNSON’S GR PR SULALAYA ICEWARRIOR. MN. (SIA m 21) 18/8/11. Very handsome, large, strong boy. Even wedge of medium length with large ears set in alignment, beautifully inclined oriental blue eyes. Profile nearly straight, tiny dip at the bridge now, chin curves, excellent even bite. Elegant lengthy strong body with balancing length of limb, neat oval paws and lengthy tail. Lovey soft lilac based caramel tabby tracery, rings and leg bars, super clear pale body contrast. Congratulations on the Imperial win.

AC ORIENTAL BREEDERS KITTEN.
1 HARVEY’S ENIGMATIC CLOUD NINE. F. (OSH f 24) 28/4/15. Tortie lass of very good type and attractive pattern; unfortunately my notes have been drenched in something dubious which has rendered them illegible, other than my record of a very good profile! My apologies. 2. HIRST’S TIGHAR UBEETORTIE. F. (OSH g) 19/4/15 Sweet babe of good type, tiny forehead dip. Coat of good texture, rather dark shade with rather warm breaks. The above problem with most of my notes applies here too.
