Burnthwaites Siamese & Oriental Cats — Hampshire

Burnthwaites is a GCCF-registered Siamese and Oriental cattery based in Hampshire, run by Ross and Paula. We have bred and shown under our registered prefix Burnthwaites for many years, and every kitten we produce carries that prefix with pride.

Our cats are pets first and foremost. They live indoors with us as part of a busy, loving family, and health, temperament and early socialisation matter to us just as much as show type. That balance is what we breed for — beautiful, typey cats that are also confident, affectionate and genuinely nice to live with.

We are active members of the cat fancy. Ross is a GCCF judge of Siamese and Oriental cats, we sit on cat club committees, and we serve as delegates to the Siamese Cat Joint Advisory Committee. You’ll often find us at shows around the country — Ross judging, and our own cats picking up top honours, including multiple Grand Champions and Imperial Grand Champions.

What we breed: Siamese (pointed, blue-eyed) and Oriental (green-eyed — self, tabby, tortie and bicolour) — the same breed group, the same wonderful temperament, in a rainbow of colours.

Health comes first. Our breeding cats are PRA negative and we breed in line with GCCF registration policy and responsible practice. Kittens leave us vaccinated, registered and fully socialised, with lifetime breeder support.

We occasionally have Oriental and Siamese kittens available to carefully matched show and pet homes, and we offer limited stud services to tested and approved queens.
